Fighting Robots

"Hard to steer the stupid thingy." - Chantal
"They won't go the way you want it too!" - Also Chantal
"Very hard to steer, but it's really fun." - Jake

Driving Wheel

Good setup, runs well although it has high sensitivity.

Ultra HD TV

With an 84 inch screen at a resolution of 3840x2160, 2.2 speaker system, smart TV and cinema 3D TV this ultra HD TV may lead the change in to a much clearer viewing experience. Home cinema sets will be much better and the higher resolution will help show much more detail than we've seen before.

Winter Hat

It's just a fluffy hat, that simple.

This hat will benefit the world by keeping the heads of many people warm this winter.

Optimus Prime

Leader of the Autobots. He'll save us from the Decepticons! Knowing is half the battle.

Gadget Show 30/11/12

The video uploaded sideways for some reason. I'll see if I can fix that, but it will take a few minutes. Couldn't fix it.

HOWTHE WEEK WENT

The week went well but we needed to improve as well.

HOW THE WEEK WENT

I feel that the week went very well and the teaching was exellent but we needed to improve our skills of comunication and motivation

Matt's Review on Project 2

Performance

It started alright in front of the door I was giving out help sheets detailing about creating a blog, I made sure everyone has one, and I went to someone and I taught them how to create a blog and covered all the aspects, the one problem we faced was you need mobile phone verification while signing-up in which the person didn’t have his phone with to verify, so what I did is I logged in to my own account and showed him what you can do.

Improvements

The way I can improve on is given more demonstrations and to give out better dummies guide helpsheets with better information, also to change the blog site for creating then blog due to the problem we had.

Review of last week

For most of the week, I was using Photoshop as part of our 'Photoshop for charity' sessions in which students paid £1 to have their face put on a celebrity.

Everything went smoothly for most customers except our first; there was some miscommunication within the group and the finished photo ended up being sent to the customer 2 days later than it should have.

Throughout the week we raised £14 for our chosen charity, Guide Dogs for the Blind; some from Photoshop customers and some from donations.

On the blogging side of last week, I only taught for one session because at other times I was doing Photoshop. The one session I taught went quite well as the student had never created a blog before and she learned a lot. Overall though, it seemed most students already knew how to set up their own blogs and the sessions only taught the basics.

In summary, the week as a whole was neither bad nor good, it could have been a lot better, but it could have been much worse.

Record of Thursday and Friday

On Thursday we had 33 students over 2 sessions. These sessions went well, although we could have better prepared for the first session.

Today we have taught 18 students in two rooms. We were not prepared when the students came in, teachers were still being organised when students were sitting down. We had trouble finding the handouts, also we had planned for 9 in one room but it turned out to be 14 in one and 4 in the other at the last minute.

Record of Monday-Wednesday

Monday was our first day of teaching others on how to make a blog. The first teaching session went well, we had 17 students, although 20 were originally booked but we did not have enough people to teach them, so we had to ask if they could come another time.

On Tuesday we had 6 students for the blogging sessions and 4 people took part in the photoshopping sessions, with a fifth only donating.

On Wednesday we had 11 students for the blogging sessions and 2 people for the photoshipping session.

So far it has gone well, and we are looking at teaching 41 students over two sessions today. So good we are punching chairs.

teaching sessions

i think that thought the teaching sessions are going well  they are stressfull.
in the teaching sessions we give them a copy of a dummis guide then show them how to make the blog.

though there has been a few  problems we have over come them or worked around then out team leader is very good and doeshis job prperly

review

Today i was luck and had someone that allready had a little experience in ccreating a blog.
she all ready had a blogger account which made it alot easier to teach her. There was a few things that she didnt know how to do like changing and deciding the desighn of the blog and how to link posts and insert images.

There is one problem with this teaching sessio.
If there was someone that new and and that they knew how to do everything i could show them other bloging sites.

Review of Performance

Here is my personal review of my performance in the one to one tutorial on creating a blog.

The person that I taught had previous experience in making a blog for his school, although I was able to teach him some new things. He was able to grasp the concept quickly and said to me that creating a blog is simple and easy.

One thing that I think I could have improved on was that since my customer knew a little about creating a blog already, and they had grasped the concept quickly, that I could show them how to use html to embed videos ect. to their blog.
